Brings your charts to life

Yeoman Compact

The YEOMAN chart plotter is ideal for family cruising yachts, long distance sailing, racing and motor-boating, saving time, and allowing even the least experienced crew member to plot a position.

At the same time it is a valuable professional tool used by lifeboats, naval and commercial vessels. Point to your exact position on any chart at any time in any part of the world - in seconds. Move to other points and instantly know the range and bearing or time to get there. Enter routes or waypoints at the click of a button. All this and more can be done by the YEOMAN chart plotter. The key to its operation is the mouse.

Taking data from GPS, it senses its position as you move it over a chart. Indicator lights point you to your location and, when the lights go out, that's exactly where you are. The speed and simplicity of the YEOMAN means spending less time at the chart and is particularly helpful in rough, dark or foggy conditions or when sailing short-handed. Regular pencil plotting on a paper chart combines safety and reliability too. Waypoints can be uploaded into electronic navigators and autopilots and the YEOMAN can be linked to a full suite of yacht instrumentation. The most sophisticated instrumentation can be interfaced with the YEOMAN, integrating the benefits of real charts and multiple navigation systems, weather routing, electronic chart displays, radar and autopilots.

There are a number of products in the YEOMAN Range. The standard YEOMAN Compact takes data from your own GPS. The YEOMAN Compact GPS has an integral reciever which makes the YEOMAN a complete navigation tool, receiving and displaying all normal GPS functions. The YEOMAN is powered from a 12v supply.
