The Yeoman 'ClearView' - January 2005

The ClearView is a high-grade transparent screen which is attached along the top edge of the Yeoman Mat by a self adhesive strip, under which the chart is inserted. The Clearview is available in two sizes to suit both the Compact and Navigator Pro models.

Stand at Lowestoft Boatshow May 2004

The weight and natural non-slip properties of the screen presses and holds the chart securely to the mat so that chart-work is carried out on the screen's surface with a Yeoman Dry-Wipe pen. (no need to use the clips)

The Clearview is also Ideal for the Under Table Mounted ('Active Chart Table') versions of the Yeoman.

The ClearView is supplied with the dry-wipe pen and holder and comes in a handy Yeoman Chart Tube.

Yeoman 'Compact' - January 2005

With modern chart tables getting smaller there was a positive need for a smaller Yeoman, so we introduced a mat which measures 610mm x 505mm, this yeoman will fit boats which would not have had space for the larger Pro in the past. This Plotter will still accommodate a full size Folio Chart, and is also available as an under table mounted version. The compact comes in a handy re-usable rigid Corex case (similar to an art case) so giving the flexibility to transport to and from boats if required. Yeoman Compact Information

Chart Reference Points - June 2004

The software contained in Yeoman plotters is pre-programmed with the reference points shown on certain chart packages aimed at the Leisure user. This provides quick and easy access to the plotter’s use with the minimum of setting-up. However, with the introduction of 2004 New Editions of certain areas published by the Admiralty, it would seem that the reference points on these charts have been re-arranged and do not correspond to the co-ordinates pre-programmed in previous versions of Yeoman software.

All Yeoman Plotters manufactured by Precision Navigation Ltd have been programmed with Chart Libraries that coincide with the reference points shown on the 2004 editions of the UK Hydrographic Office Leisure Chart Folios. Furthermore, recent Stanfords chart packs have been published and the reference points, where applicable, have also been added to our software. Imray chart information has been checked and brought up to date and it is our intention to include the Admiralty Caribbean Leisure Folios in time for the 2004 Arc rally.

Users of Yeoman products who may wish to upgrade the chart folio libraries contained in their plotter can get in touch with our service agent;
